1980 -
Keicher Engineering was founded in 1980 by Dipl. Ing. (FH) Siegfried Keicher in Blaustein. The business idea is the development, production and sale of hydraulic units and systems.
1988 -
Moving to new business premises in Ulm with larger offices and own production.
1999 -
Keicher Engineering takes over WK Worek Kunststofftechnik GmbH and takes over the employees, the product range and the patents. As a result of this takeover, Keicher Engineering is expanding into the areas of RAM extrusion, paste extrusion and transfer molding.
2000 -
Conversion of the CAD workstations to 3D
2001 -
Introduction of a merchandise management system.
2002 -
Keicher Engineering GmbH is transformed into a public limited company. Introduction of a quality system, certification according to ISO 9001:
2008 -
Keicher becomes an approved supplier at Siemens AG for the supply of hydraulic power units in the power plant area of the gas turbine.
2007 -
Major order for a retrofit power plant in South Africa - delivery of 6 units by 2012.
2008 -
Keicher also qualifies at Siemens AG for the supply of hydraulic power units for the steam turbine.
2011 -
Development of actuators for the Siemens Gas Turbine.
2012 -
Qualification in the field of retrofit power plants.
2016 -
Delivery of the 400th hydraulic unit to Siemens.
October 2016 -
Reinhold Schlau joins Keicher Engineering AG as Manager.
